MEET THE FOUNDER
CJ Luckey
Hip-hop artist, motivational speaker, and founder of The C.A.P.S. Tour — CJ has dedicated over 10 years to investing in and teaching young people that perseverance isn't just a word on a poster. It's a way of living.
After studying Dr. Carol Dweck's research on the growth mindset, CJ's first thought was how he could use his gift in music to teach students these powerful concepts. That became the foundation for The C.A.P.S. Tour.
Founded in 2017, The C.A.P.S. Tour was born from a simple belief: every student deserves to hear that their struggle matters, their effort counts, and their story isn't over. Growth mindset concepts are embedded in the lyrics of CJ's music — songs like "The Power of Yet" and "Grit & Resilience" leave students dancing, singing, and learning.
